Meet the Directors

Kayla Sokoloff

Head Director

Ms. Sokoloff is a proud graduate of Dulles High School and the Head Director of the Dulles Dolls and Dance Program. Growing up just down the street from Dulles, she found her home in the dance room and never looked back. As a student, she was a three-year member of the Dolls and served as Captain her senior year — an experience that continues to shape her passion for dance education and team culture.

After graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a B.S. in Government and a Certificate in Business, Ms. Sokoloff spent time in Washington, D.C. before returning to Texas to begin her teaching career. She taught World History in Houston ISD before stepping into her dream role back at Dulles.

Now in her 7th year at Dulles and 9th year in education, Ms. Sokoloff is honored to lead the program that once shaped her. She is dedicated to building confident, compassionate dancers through both the Dolls team and dance classes on campus. Her choreography, leadership, and commitment to tradition and growth continue to inspire the next generation of Dulles dancers.

Scarlet Ostrowski

Assistant Director

Mrs. Ostrowski is proud to share her passion for dance and performance at Dulles High School, where she serves as a dance teacher and Assistant Director of the award-winning Dulles Dolls Dance Team. A native of Plano, Texas, she was a member and Officer on her high school dance team.

She went on to serve as an Officer on the 80th Line of the world-famous Kilgore College Rangerettes before continuing her education at Texas A&M University. There, she was a two-year member of both the Aggie Dance Team and the university's Dance Department, earning a Bachelor of Science in Dance with minors in Communications and Leadership.

Mrs. Ostrowski has also spent five years as an instructor with Encore Creative Productions, choreographing and training dance teams across Texas. She continues to pursue professional dance while sharing her experience and passion with her students. Go Dolls — 143!
